Maxtrack will be out in force at the CLA Game Fair this year. As usual we will have the MBS Pro Ramp there doing mountainboard demonstrations. This is where our mountainboard Pro Team perform jumps and tricks on our custom built ramp over a Landrover. Alongside that we will be running a mountainboard Have a Go. This gives members of the public a chance to experience mountainboarding in the capable hands of qualified instructors. We provide all the equipment required.

We will also be there with Quantya. We will have a miniature QuantyaparX set up in order to mimic the experience. There will be the opportunity to test ride a bikes round the small track we have set up. Quantya UK staff will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the bikes and also setting up a Quantya Park Franchise.

The CLA Game Fair 2010 will be at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire on the 23rd-25th July.

From tomrorow – the 27th to Friday the 29th we will be at the Place apartments in Manchester showing the latest ranges from Never Summer Snowboards, Liberty Skis and Icelantic Skis. If you would like to pop along please give the office a call and they will put you in touch with us. If not just pop along and we will try and squeeze you in.

Winterberg – the mountainboard centre we built in Germany last year have finally got their own website up and running. It is currently all in German but as it develops it might get translated too. Even still, it is easy enough to check out the photos and videos.

Maxtrack will be at Slide, in Manchester, from Sunday 15th February to Tuesday 17th February. We will be showcasing all our winter sport  offerings for 09/10. This includes of course the new Never Summer snowboard range which will feature Rocker + Camber technology on all boards except the Titan.

The new and improved Beyond Snow binding range which are stronger, lighter and more comfortable then ever before.

The 09/10 Icelantic range will be a crowd stopper for sure. The new graphics by artist Travis Parr are very eye-catching especially when combined with the unusual shape of the skis.

The 09/10 Liberty skis are colourful, vibrant and just the thing for any free skier. They are a high quality ski with a very high quality finish and look.

We cannot wait to see the public’s reaction to all these products.

Both Beyond Snow and Never Summer will be represented at ISPO. You can find Beyond Snow at Hall A1 Booth 529. Never Summer will also be in Hall A1 in Booth 523. As of today we are all back in the office. We had a great run up to Christmas and are now working hard to have an even better 2009.

There is still plenty of snow about so make sure your riding a Never Summer snowboard.

The days are starting to get longer too, and it wont be long till mountainboarding and kiting come back onto the scene more. We have a few things planned for this year too so keep checking back!

If longboarding is your thing then you need to check out our Flashpads. These are deck risers fitted with LEDs. You will be the talk of the town.

A little blast from the past. For those who will remember, here is a gallery with some photos from the Maxtrack Classic in 2006.

Many of you will remember Xelements from a couple of years ago – well now it is back. This is that free magazine you can pick up in stores all over the country. It is a great little mag and does a lot to promote extreme sports. Both MBS and Never Summer feature in the latest issue (issue 17).

The Boarder Magazine

The boarder is a new mag put together by 328 Media (The guys behind Kiteworld). It features mountainboarding, kite landboarding and longboarding. Both MBS and Never Summer have a good presence in the magazine in terms of adverts and editorial. There will be 4 issues a year and we really hope they do well as we need a good magazine!

Our lovely barn here at Maxtrack HQ is available for hire. It is an outstanding wedding venue, business conference facility, and function room for art exhibitions and private parties and private meetings.

The Barn is in Dymock, Gloucestershire, conveniently located a half hour drive from Gloucester or Hereford. The nearest train station would be Ledbury.
