Last weekend we took the MBS Pro Ramp and a hire and ride set up to the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The sun was scorching but the weekend was a total success. We showcased mountainboarding to thousands of people and gave them the opportunity to give it a go too. The MBS Pro Team worked hard pushing themselves on the ramp in order to impress the crowds then again on the hire and ride slope, teaching.

We had people of all ages trying out mountainboarding and everyone really enjoyed it. It works so well when we can have the ramp operating alongside the hire and ride. We had a beautiful location right along the riverside, with a great grassy slope perfect for those enjoying their first few runs on a mountainboard.

This weekend is the opening of the Winterberg Park in Germany. This is something we are very proud of and have enjoyed working with the guys at Rockdon.de and Skilifte Poppenberg.

AJ Watkins, our top park builder, together with Tom Kirkman, MBS Pro Team rider, designed and built this park earlier this summer. The park takes mountainboard centres to a whole new level with much longer tracks and snow resort facilities. The park features drag and chair lifts to take riders back up to the top, and there are plans for it to be floodlit later this year.

Riding is free for all riders during the opening so it is worth taking advantage of this. MBS riders Tom Kirkman, Joe Dickson and Stu Lugger will be representing us at the opening. For more information about the opening see www.rockon.de/park

The MBS Pro Ramp is a spectacular show. The MBS Pro Team perform tricks including spins and backflips over a landrover. This weekend the ramp will be at the 24 hour Scout event in Gilwell, Essex. Alongside the ramp show we will be running a hire and ride giving people the chance to try out mountainboarding themselves. Last year we taught almost 400 Scouts how to mountainboard, and we hope to beat that figure this year.

In a couple of weeks time we will be at the CLA Game fair on its 50th Aniversary at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Here we will have 3 days of ramp shows and hire and ride. It is a great event that should see large crowds gathering round the Pro Ramp.

After a few years with the red and yellow colour scheme we have decided it is time to revamp MBSEurope.com. This time we have opted for a blue site to give a more European feel to it and to differentiate it from the US site.
